Reliance Jio won the download speed, Vodafone won the upload

Reliance Jio surpassed other telecom companies in terms of 4G download speeds in April. As of April 2021, Reliance Jio topped the 4G speed chart with a data download rate of 20.1 megabytes per second (Mbps). At the same time, Vodafone topped the upload speed in April with 7.bps Mbps. This is stated in the latest information of Telecom Regulatory Authority

Geo’s download speed was about 3 times faster
In April, Reliance Jio’s download speeds were almost 3 times faster than its nearest rival Vodafone. However, Vodafone and Idea Cellular have merged their mobile business with Vodafone Idea Limited. However, sector regulator TRAI still publishes various network speed data of both the companies. According to TRAI, Vodafone’s download speed in April was MMbps. At the same time, Idea and Airtel download speeds were 5.8 and 5 Mbps, respectively.

Vodafone tops in terms of upload speed
Vodafone was at the top in terms of upload speed. Vodafone’s speed in April was 6.7 Mbps. At the same time the upload speed of ID was 6.1 Mbps. Reliance Jio had a upload speed of 4.2 Mbps and Airtel had a upload speed of 3.9 Mbps. Download speeds help users quickly access content from the Internet. At the same time, upload speed helps users quickly send photos and videos to their contacts.
