March was a great month for Renalo, France’s leading carmaker. The company recorded a full 278% growth in sales in March. Renault sold a total of 12,356 units of vehicles in March, up from 3,369 units in March last year, according to the company’s report.
The most important factor in this impressive sales growth of the company is the recently launched Kiger, the most affordable SUV V as well as the company’s seven seater MPV Tribe. Equipped with a sleek sporty look and powerful engine power, the new Kigar is the cheapest SUV in its category, with a starting price of just Rs 5.45 lakh.
However, in the case of the monthly sales report, the company’s sales registered a 12 percent growth. Last February, the company sold 11,043 units. Currently, the cheapest hatchback cars on the market are the Quid, the affordable compact SUV Kigar and the MPV Tribe are the best-selling models.
Cheap compact SUVs:
In Renault Keys, the company is using the same engine as the one used in the Magnet. This car is available with two petrol engine options. Its 1.0-liter natural ambitious engine generates 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque. At the same time, its turbo engine generates 100 PS of power and 160 Nm of torque. This SUV is available with both manual and automatic transmission, gearbox.
The company has also included new and modern features in this SEV. Features include an inch-by-inch digital instrument cluster, LED projector headlamps, cruise control, steering-mounted control, voice recognition technology, push button start and stop, and automatic climate control with an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system.
