October 7 (WNN) — Sony Pictures released the trailer Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City on Thursday. The film opens in theaters on November 24.
Set in 1988, the film promises a more faithful adaptation of the hit video game than films starring Milla Jovovich. It features the characters of the game Claire (Kaya Scodelario) and Chris Redfield (Robby Amell), Jill Valentine (Hannah John-Kamen), Albert Wesker (Tom Hooper) and William Birkin (Neil McDonough).
By 1988, Claire’s always had conspiracy theories about the Umbrella Corp. operating out of Raccoon City. Her brother Chris never believed her.
Umbrella’s biological experiments turn people into zombies and the outbreak spreads across the city. Proved right, Claire returns to help eradicate the corpse.
The trailer also features the zombie dogs, which were featured in the first Jovovich film, and the game’s other monsters.
Paul WS Anderson 2002. directed resident Evil A film starring Jovovich as the original character, Alice. they will marry and make a total of six resident Evil films, which Anderson will produce and will return to direct that last three.
The video game was a series of Third Person Survival Horror Adventures that debuted on the Sony Playstation. Sequels and remakes are released for the next generation of consoles.
