NEW YORK (NWN) — The resilient Arizona Cardinals have done it again.
For the second time in three games, the Cardinals won the road despite playing quarterback Kyler Murray and star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins without starting, as Colt McCoy paved the way for a 23–13 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
And now the Cardinals go into their goodbye week on top of the latest NWN Pro 32 poll,
The Cardinals took 11 out of 12 for 383 points in a poll Tuesday by media members who regularly cover the NFL. He was No. 1 in polling after 9 last week.
“(They) won twice on the road without Murray,” said Fox Sports’ John Jarnecki. “The defense remains solid.”
The Green Bay Packers slipped to second place at the end of time after losing 34–31 on a field goal to the Minnesota Vikings.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers climbed three places to No. 3 as they found their form after beating the New York Giants 30-10 on Monday night.
Another team that has overcome recent struggles, the Kansas City Chiefs jumped six places to No. 4 in their goodbye week. The Chiefs defeated Dallas, who had previously placed third.
The Tennessee Titans, who received the remaining first-place vote, dropped three places to No. 5 after a turnover-filled loss to the Houston Texans.
To the concern of many fans across the league, the New England Patriots are back in first place in the AFC East and are at their best in the second half of the season. The Patriots jumped two places to number six and host the Titans on Sunday in a game that could have a major impact on the race for the playoffs in the AFC.
Baltimore moved up two places to number 7th, leaving the Chicago Bears 16-13 behind. Similar to the Cardinals, the Ravens also relied on a backup QB to secure the win on the road as Tyler Huntley led a five-play, 72-yard drive in the final minute for the winning touchdown with Lamar Jackson sick .
Dallas dropped five places to 8th after losing to the Chiefs and will be looking to regain its winning ways when the Cowboys host Las Vegas on Thanksgiving Day.
Despite being on the left last week, the Los Angeles Rams slipped two places to number 9. The Rams will look to end their two-game slide as they head to Green Bay on Sunday.
Rick Gosselin of Talk of Fame Network said, “A defense with three perennial Pro Bowl players — DT Aaron Donald, OLB Von Miller and CB Jalen Ramsey — shouldn’t be out of the NFL’s Top 10.”

And the Buffalo Bills dropped five places to 10th. After losing to the Colts on Sunday, they would have an early opportunity to return after traveling to New Orleans on Thanksgiving night. New Orleans slipped five places to number 19.
