The 2022 Customer Excellence Awards have gone to six RIU Hotels & Resorts hotels located in Dubai, the Maldives, the United States and Spain.
The operator collected over 67,000 independent opinions in 2022 and awarded a total of 540 grants Customer Excellence Awards 2022 To recognize the best value hotels by customers worldwide.
The six award-winning RIU hotels are: Riu Dubai Hotel (overall score of 4.5 out of 5 stars), Riu Palace Maldives (overall score of 4.5 out of 5 stars), Riu Atoll (overall score of 4.6 out of 5 stars), Riu Plaza New York Times Square (overall score of 4.5 out of 5 stars), Riu Plaza Manhattan Times Square (overall score of 4.6 out of 5 stars) and Riu Plaza España (overall score of 4.7 out of 5 stars).
These awards base their recognition on the unbiased opinions of customers visiting their hotels.
British Airways Holidays collects these opinions through FIFO, an independent platform where customers leave ratings of their experience at the hotels they have visited. Guests rate their stay based on the location, service, cleanliness of the facility and quality of sleep, giving an overall rating out of five stars.
For RIU, these awards are highly relevant as they recognize the combined effort made by all workers in the chain’s hotels to provide the best service every day.
