Hollywood actor Robert De Niro was the special guest at the Madrid Fusion event in the Spanish capital, and tasted food prepared by a select group of chefs, including Argentine Mauro Colagreco. When it came to criticizing the food, he destroyed the cooks in the program.
The tasting of dishes for the twentieth anniversary of the event was composed of a menu consisting of 16 steps. The food was prepared by Colagreco and the world’s elite chefs, such as Martin Berasategui, Juan Roca, Carles Tejedor and Quique Dacosta.
For more than three hours, Robert De Niro enjoyed a “priceless menu” in the royal suite of the Mandarin Oriental Ritz in Madrid.

Mauro Colagreco is an Argentine chef who won three Michelin stars for his work at his Mediterranean restaurant called Mirasur in Menton, France. In Argentina there are several restaurants called “Carne” located in Buenos Aires, La Plata, Olivos and Mendoza.
