The Laminated False Ceiling Division of Rockwool Peninsular Company, Rockfon presents innovative acoustic design solutions that, in addition to offering greater flexibility, contribute to wellness and sustainability. Specifically, the new range is made up of the Rockfon Hub, Rockfon Canva, Rockfon Lamella and Rockfon Sense, which combine beauty and acoustical excellence.
The new solutions allow designers to create interior environments focused on the well-being of users and unleash their creativity. A new concept of “space in space” that provides fluidity to open-concept offices, to create private and collaborative areas, like the Rockfon Hub. Or the Rockfon Canva, which, thanks to its various removable and durable canvases, can be designed and customized to enhance the mood and serve the purpose of any space. For its part, Rockfon Lamella allows designers to create unique environments using wood and rock wool in a single modular wall system, eliminating complex customization processes as it offers 650,000 design combinations in a single system. And finally, Rockfon Senses, which combines the acoustic power of stone wool with organic surfaces made of flowers, grass and moss, a new way to bring nature and calm into interior spaces.
Christian Kling, Rockfon’s Director of Innovation, indicated that: We have focused on two key areas: Firstly, on introducing more adaptable products into our range, including modular, customizable and detachable acoustic solutions. In this way, designers can achieve acoustic balance in spaces, incorporating our solutions into walls and ceilings or through partitions and decorative acoustic panels. And because they can be reconfigured, owners and their tenants have design flexibility in a world where change is constant and adaptability is essential. Our other main focus has been the promotion of wellness. We aim to make people “feel good” through the use of colours, biophilic-inspired designs and natural surfaces, and help create private spaces with acoustical partitions, islands and barriers.
