Rodrigo Gattas (31) has become the real “patiperro” of Chilean soccer. Years later for Cerro (Uruguay), York 09 (Canada), FK Qäbälä (Azerbaijan) and UD Montijo (Spain). – Why do you decide to return to Chilon?
– I had to come from Spain for a visa reason. All those steps abroad helped me grow, I owe a lot to those moments, but I wanted to return to Chilean football. I want my revenge, I could never have a good age here.
– About life, I think it is difficult to return to Chile after so many years abroad…
– In addition, life is very good in Uruguay, Canada, Azerbaijan and Spain. I learned a lot. In Azerbaijan, the pandemic only touched me and made me grow too, but Chile is still lost for family, friends and diseases.
– Do you like to go back outside to play or live after retirement?
– Spain is the country that I liked the most and I would love to do a sports course there, maybe the technical director offered a course. I left my good friends well, and, I must say, I loved my country.
– are you excited about expanding this good role in San Antonio Unido and being able to play in the First Division again?
– To love it is a great goal for me. I work every day. This is his own revenge. I feel there is power and importance in football. It would be nice to have this new opportunity in the First Division.
