Roy Suryo shocked to be a suspect, Elja Sirief: Can’t sleep for 3 days

Roy Suryo already knew that he had been named a suspect in the Borobudur Stupa meme case before the investigation last Friday (22/7). Lawyer Elja Sayreef said Roy Suryo could not sleep for several days due to shock.

When contacted Saturday (23/7/2022), Elza said, “He doesn’t talk much. Maybe he was in shock or something, so he kept quiet.”

According to Elja, her client has not made any specific comment after being suspected in the Borobudur temple stupa meme case. Roy Suryo is also said to have had trouble sleeping in the last few days.

“There is no (special comment). We know that already doubt, maybe he Thinking, That’s why I can’t sleep,” Elza explained.

Elja said that so far her party has not taken any legal steps to name any suspect in the name of Roy Suryo. Elja said her party was still focused on completing the agenda of investigating Roy Suryo as a suspect before taking further legal steps.

“Let’s finish the BAP first. We appreciate the regional police, we feel comfortable with the investigators. Everything is fine. Only Mr. Roy, I am chat chat His wife said that you could not sleep for three days Thinking This,” Elza explained.

Roy unconscious – vomited during examination

Elza admitted that Roy Suryo was unwell during the interrogation for the suspects on Friday (22/7). It is said that the former youth and sports minister had trouble sleeping for the last three days.

“I am hear yes it’s probably been three days since wife Thinking He’s a suspect, I don’t know what he’s thinking. Anyway, I couldn’t sleep for three days. Then I entertained her, asked her to eat all kinds of things, but she was feeling lack of appetite,” he said.

Roy Suryo also experienced vomiting when he checked into the investigator’s room. Elja said Roy Suryo also fainted during the suspicious investigation process.

“(When) I went to BAP (exam minutes) first, there were many lawyers. Then when I came back, it was told that Pak Roy had fallen, he fainted,” Elja said.

“It turns out that maybe he didn’t sleep or something, (Roy Suryo) vomited in the police room,” he said.

Police ready for further investigation

Police say that the investigation is not over yet. Roy Suryo will be tested again on Thursday (28/7)

When contacted, Coombs Andra Julpan, Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Police, said, “We will still continue to investigate the suspicious situation. Because yesterday the person concerned asked to stop the test because he was feeling unwell.”

Police is understanding the condition of Roy Suryo, who left during the examination on Friday (22/7). Roy Suryo will be re-examined when his health improves.

He said Roy Suryo needed to investigate the suspect in order to complete the completeness of the case file. Police will immediately conduct further investigation on Roy Suryo in the near future.

“The investigation as a suspect is not yet completed, so we will continue it later,” Zulpan said.
