Royal Enfield turns 120 years old. On this occasion, the company has brought the 120th anniversary edition of its popular 650 twin motorcycles – the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. The bikes have been presented at the EICMA 2021 (Milan Motorcycle Show). Of special note is that this limited edition bike will have only 480 units, which will be sold in India, Europe, America and Southeast Asia. That means a total of 120 units of the two bikes can be purchased in India.
What’s special about the anniversary edition?
To make the 120th anniversary edition special, the bikes have been designed and crafted by the company’s UK and Indian team. The bike has a unique, rich black chrome tank. The tank is manufactured at Royal Enfield’s manufacturing plant in Chennai. In addition to the tank, for the first time, both bikes have a completely black part and the engine, silencer and other components are available in black.
