Royal Enfield has recently launched the next generation model of its best-selling bike Classic 350 in the domestic market. Now the company is preparing to launch the new bike Hunter 350. This bike has been seen several times during testing at various events, but this time a lot of new information about the bike has come to the fore.
Speaking of spy photos, the company has given the new Hunter bike a retro roadstar design, equipped with advanced features. It gets round headlamps with peanut shaped fuel tanks, single piece seats and shaft wheels. The bike has been given a mostly black paint scheme and it is believed that it will also give a straight riding position like the Classic 350.
The Hunter 350 will also be based on the company’s new J platform, on which the company has built the recently launched Classic 350. The platform is powered by a 349cc single cylinder engine with a double cradle frame that produces 20.2bhp of power and 27Nm of torque. This engine comes with a 5 speed gearbox.
Media reports also claim that the company is preparing a new Hunter 350 with young riders and women in mind. Therefore, it is believed that the company will keep its weight to a minimum. The bikes built on the new platform are less vibrating, as is the case with the Classic 350. However, there is still no official confirmation about it.
