Palace wants to set an example at the funeral

According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”. Palace officials have asked his parents to let George attend the Queen’s funeral on Monday. The palace apparently thinks this is a strong signal and wants to convey the message that the line of succession in the royal family is dry.

A final decision has not yet been made, according to palace circles. The presence of George’s younger sister Charlotte is also said to be discussed. The seven-year-old, like her older brother, attended Prince Philip’s memorial service earlier this year.

It is also not yet known whether the third in the group, Prince Louis, at the age of four, will stay away from his parents’ castle on Monday and thus the funeral.
