Russia accuses US of instigating Ukraine for nuclear devastation – Nation World News

The Russian embassy in the United States of America (USA) on Friday accused the North American nation of “pushing” Ukraine to a nuclear catastrophe, noting Kyiv’s continued attacks on Zaporozhye nuclear power plant facilities.

“The Kyiv military continues to conduct systematic attacks against the plant using multiple rocket launchers, artillery and drones, all praised by Washington, which could create a disaster that Europe will suffer for several decades,” The unit explained in detail. Russian diplomats also rejected recent statements by US State Department spokesman, Ned Price, who said the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant was threatened by a war with Russia, despite the fact that the plant is under Russian power.

In this regard, diplomats pointed out that Price offered “no evidence” to support his allegations, while excluding Ukraine, “primarily responsible for what is happening”, out of his speech.

“Clearly, Washington does not disdain brazen lies in its unstoppable attempts to discredit our country,” the Russian delegates insisted.
