Nikolay Patrushev, the secretary of the Russian Security Council, told this Friday that the destruction of depleted uranium munitions supplied to Ukraine by the West has created a radioactive cloud that is heading towards Europe, Tass reports.
In this sense, he explained at a conference in the Russian city of Syktyvkar that the elimination of depleted uranium weapons caused “a radioactive cloud that is now moving towards Western Europe.”
In this regard, Patrushev warned that “in Poland there is already an increased level of radiation.”
More help for Ukraine
Regarding the presence of US President Joe Biden in Japan to participate in the G7 summit, he said that instead of defending, as Americans believe, common democratic values, “under pressure from the head of Western countries, the United States, They will also discuss aid to Ukraine.
Chemical weapons in Ukraine
Patrushev condemned the fact that “the United States is developing and is already using chemical and biological weapons, including in Ukraine.”
He recalled that in August 1945, without any military necessity, the United States dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which “had disastrous consequences and killed a large number of civilians.”
“They didn’t apologize! And they’re not going to apologize for what they’ve done. They continue to brainwash the Japanese into thinking that it was the Soviet Union, not the United States, that used nuclear weapons against them. Was,” he said.
“That’s what American aid is all about,” said the secretary of the Russian Security Council.
