Despite a number of achievements to her credit, she has revealed that she is often asked about ‘when’ is she having a baby and ‘why’ she still doesn’t have one.
Earlier this week, Kamineni Konidela struck up a conversation with Sadhguru and shared the social pressure every woman experiences in her life and life decisions.
During the 17th American Telugu Association (ATA) Conference and Convention, she told the yogi that people always feel it is her ‘duty’ to question her life, relationships and family, even though she has been happily married for 10 years.
With a reference to her husband’s hit movie ‘Roar Rise Revolt’, the businesswoman said: “…Why do people think it’s their duty to question my ‘RRR’.”

Explaining the RRRs of her life, the 32-year-old said it stands for ‘relationship’, her ability to ‘reproduce’ and her ‘role’ in life. “There are so many women like me who would like an answer to that,” she emphasized.
While Sadhguru said he would like to leave the ‘relationship’ out of the discussion, he shared his views on what he feels when people comment on his ability to ‘reproduce’.
Impressed by Kamineni Konidela’s decision not to have a child yet, Sadhguru said he would give her an award if she decided not to have a baby.
“If you stay like this, not reproducing, I’ll give you a prize. I’ve already announced an award for all those young women who are healthy and able to reproduce, but choose not to. This is the greatest service you can do right now,” he said.
Talking about the environmental impact, the spiritual leader said that the world is heading towards the 10 billion mark in the next 30-35 years. The least people can do is choose not to reproduce, he said.
“Man is worried about the carbon footprint, but if the human footprint is reduced, there is no need to worry about global warming as well. So it’s nice to see women who have chosen not to reproduce,” he added.
As soon as Sadhguru said this, the businessman replied, “You will be calling from my mother and mother-in-law very soon.”
The philanthropist also shared the short video clip of the interaction on social media platforms.

The ATA conference was held July 1-3, 2022, at the Walter E Washington Convention Center in Washington DC.
Last year, the ‘RRR’ star revealed at a press conference that it’s his responsibility, as the son of megastar Chiranjeevi, to make fans happy. “If I start a family, I might stray from my mission. Upasana also has some goals. So we decided not to have children for a few years,” he said.
Last month on June 14, the fan-favorite couple flew to Florence, Italy to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, taking a break from their hectic work commitments.
The two took to Instagram to share photos from their vacation. Dressed in white, the two could be enjoying the summer in the countryside.

While Upasana completed her look with an oversized hat, Charan’s white Dolce & Gabbana shirt with ‘Bring Me To The Moon’ caught everyone’s attention.
The couple tied the knot on June 14, 2012 after dating for several years.
On the work front, Charan was recently seen on ‘Acharya’ with his father and superstar Chiranjeevi. However, the film did not leave a mark at the box office.
He is currently finishing his highly anticipated film under the direction of Shankar Shanmugham ‘RC15’. The film, billed as an action drama with current politics, features an ensemble cast, with Kiara Advani playing the female lead.
