Music, plastic arts, gastronomy, jewelry and fragrance market ‘Alegria Puerto Rico! Converge in the Project, an initiative that seeks to highlight the essence of Puerto Rican and promote our cultural wealth in the middle of the city’s fifth century de San Juan.
The multidisciplinary project was presented today at the Centro de Bellas (CBA) in Centaurus by its creator, journalist and producer Frances Ryan, together with a group of musicians, musicians, singers, cultural managers and visual artists who have previously lived life. Alegria Puerto Rico under cultural seal! The manufacturer announced the first phase of development of a project that was born with the dream of creating a destination fragrance with which all Puerto Ricans can identify.
Added to that fragrance, created by Spanish perfumer Daniel Josier, and which will be launched in November this year, is a gourmet coffee creation grown and packaged in Puerto Rico, handpicked by Italian sommelier and businessman Sandro Guillimondi.
Both products wandered like a dream in creator Ryan’s head when he took on the task of starting out to fulfill his purpose and instead realized that music should exist and be a fundamental part of ‘Alegria Puerto Rico’. . After the fragrance’s development phase began, they invited musicians, singers and visual artists to be part of the cultural project.
“The pandemic allowed me to reconnect with the joy we have as a people. This is where this brand and cultural management called ‘Alegria Puerto Rico’ was born. It’s a dream I’ve been working on for many years and I always thought there was a way to creatively celebrate our culture inside and outside of Puerto Rico. I wanted to give the project a physical presence and so we designed the island’s first destination fragrance. It is not easy to capture the aroma of Puerto Rico as we have many nuances. The fragrance is already under construction and is thinking about celebrating 500 years of San Juan, what better way to do it than with a great concert that focuses on 500 years of Puerto Rican music”, René K. The producer explained the Marquess room at the Center de Bellas Arts, where the concert will take place.
The cultural initiative will present the concert Alegria 500 Years of Music on Sunday, November 14 at 7:00 PM! Directed by teacher and composer William Cepeda. The show will be a journey through five centuries of Puerto Rican music ranging from indigenous rhythms to the present.
“I’m very excited about this project, because it’s not only music, theatre, but it also includes other subjects like fragrance. You learn from it and I love to expand with others. Outstanding Composer will direct the musical evening featuring pianist Adlan Cruz, coutrista Fabiola Muoz, singer-songwriter Yere, vocalist Victor Santiago, composer Josue Barreto, Escuela Libre de Msica Ernesto Ramos Antonini, Regimiento Feijo and dancers from Centro Danza.

Alegria Centenary Day from the capital city and the 25th anniversary of the National Foundation for Popular Culture.
Cultural Management also integrates renowned plastic artist Rafael Trellas into the production of his painting “Palma Sagrada”, which he will create in a special collection for the launch of the new Alegria Puerto Rico platform.
Other artists involved in the project were Puerto Rican jewelry designer Paola Bella, who had an exclusive collection of jewelry inspired by native flora.
