It will open franchise stores with “very consolidated” groups

As part of its expansion strategy for this year, Grupo Sona inaugurated this Thursday a new store in La Cañada de Paterna (Valencia), with a total of 15 openings expected in Spain.
In addition, for the first time, the restaurant chain plans to open between two and three franchise premises by the hand of new ‘partners’ who will be a “very consolidated” group.
The new restaurant, its nineteenth in the province of Valencia and 23rd in La Cañada, is located on 29th Street, divided into two plots that total more than 500 square meters. Its capacity is 151 people.
For this project, which is composed of two houses – a smaller one with one height and a larger one with two heights –, the interior design team has chosen to project their distinctive Mediterranean style in both blocks. They are connected to an outdoor space, endowed with native flora and designed for enjoying alfresco dining.
The interior of the premises, bright and welcoming, is designed in such a way that it conveys the feeling of “eating in your own home”. Through wooden furniture, indirect lighting and the use of natural fibers and materials, “a mindful and relaxed atmosphere is created that invites you to relax and disconnect”.
“The residents of La Canada will be able to enjoy our gastronomic offer based on Mediterranean cuisine made with quality and local products, but reinterpreted in a contemporary key in an environment prone to the quiet enjoyment of gastronomy”, highlights the founder of Inserted group, Gonzalo Bald.

The choice of this new location responds to a “careful” study carried out by the Sona expansion team, which is in charge of analyzing, among priority locations for the brand, which is the best area to locate its new campus. However they also take into account the context and feel of the restaurant that is open.
“The towns close to the city of Valencia have been strategic for the group in recent years, as they are residential areas where its concept has been well received”, confirms Eduardo Céspedes, CEO.
