State Bank of India (SBI) has issued an important notice to the customers. This notice has been issued regarding fixed deposits. State Bank of India has asked its customers to beware of fraudsters. State Bank of India (SBI) has said that the fraudsters are trying to get the details of personal banking from the customers on the pretext of making online fixed deposit (FD) from the customers by calling themselves SBI employees.
Customers should keep these issues in mind, SBI said
In a post shared on Twitter, the country’s largest public sector bank advised customers not to fall prey to such scandals. In a tweet, SBI said that several reports had surfaced that cybercriminals had created online fixed deposits in customers’ accounts for fraud. Do not fall into the trap of fraudsters who claim to be SBI employees. We never ask our customers for personal details like passwords / OTP / CVV or card numbers on their phones.
We urge our customers not to share their banking details with anyone. Don’t read disguised scammers as SBI, we never want personal details like password / OTP / CVV / card number on the phone.
