Scooters took command from Hero Splendor to Passion, with the company selling 4.85 lakh vehicles

For Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler maker, January is not a good month. Although the company’s scooters gave a good start this year, motorcycle sales declined last January. Sales fell 3.14 percent last January, according to reports released by the company.

The company sold a total of 4,85,889 units of vehicles in January, according to reports. This includes 449,037 units of motorcycles and 36,852 units of scooters. A total of 501,622 units were sold in January last year. This includes 494,432 motorcycles and 7,190 units of scooters.

Compared to January last year, there has been a tremendous increase in sales of scooters instead of bikes this month. In the domestic market, the company sold 467,776 units of vehicles in January, up from 488,069 units in January last year. However, sales in the export market increased. The company exported 18,113 units of vehicles this year, up from 13,553 units in January last year.

Hero MotoCorp recently announced the release of its 100 million bike from the plant. It was the first company in the world. The company has launched the Xtreme 160R as a 100 million bike. The bike was manufactured at a plant in Haridwar. Recently, the company has also increased the price of its vehicles.
