Among the most important benefits provided by the State through the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning (Minvu) is the DS1 Subsidy, which is part of the housing program for the middle sectors.
Through this assistance, homeless families get a complementary contribution that allows them to buy a new or used house; or, build a property on your own land.

Traditionally, Minvu conducts two regular calls for DS1 applications per year. The first one ended on April 28 and the results of that process are available at this link (click here), after entering the RUT and Unique Code.
As for the second annual procedure, the ministry has not announced the date – which is done through an order in the Official Gazette. However, the organism has a official schedule of applications for housing subsidies in 2023, which determines the final period of DS1 application.
When is the second application for DS1 Subsidy?
Applications for the second regular DS1 call start a month after last year, when they opened between mid to late October.
That means, according to the calendar available on the Minvu website, the process will be enabled between the third and fourth week of November —If it continues in the modality of previous years, it will start on Monday the 20th and end at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 30.
What date should I put the minimum savings?
This information is extremely important for the economic planning of families interested in the subsidy, considering that they must collect the minimum savings which are required in each of the three housing benefit sections.
The amount of such savings is not yet known and, in general, the maximum time to deposit them in the housing account is last business day of the month before the month of application.
So, while waiting for the confirmation from Minvu, households have time until Tuesday, October 31 to deposit the money in the aforementioned bank account.
