Senator Ron Johnson said it “could be true” that people could get AIDS from the COVID vaccination. Boing Boing

Republican Science Denier Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin thinks it “may be true” that COVID vaccines can give people AIDS.

Speaking to anti-vax mouthpiece Todd Callender, who said Dr. Anthony Fauci should be held criminally responsible for Covid vaccine push, senator is seen Videotweeted by Heartland Signal (and shown below), as open to the bizarre alternative fact that coronavirus vaccination can – intentionally – inject a person with AIDS.

“You have more than 100 doctors here, all of whom will tell you that these shots caused vaccine-induced AIDS. They intentionally gave people AIDS,” Callender made an unsubstantiated claim. “They knew it all, and yet they licensed these shots anyway… it’s criminal intent.”

“…you have to take one step at a time,” replied Johnson, suggesting that Callender was not wrong in his silly statements, but that he was moving too fast.

“Anything you say may be true, but the public right now believes vaccines to be safe and effective to a large extent, that vaccine injuries are rare and mild. That’s the story,” Johnson said. “That’s what the vast majority of the public accepts. So until we find a large percentage of the population with our eyes open, then: Wow, these vaccine injuries are real. Why? You have to do it step by step.”
