The reason all of the young women face charges of second degree murder is because they all may have played a role at the time of the events. “There were eight together. All eight were involved.” Terry Brown of the police told cbc canadaAnd one of the people in charge of the investigation.

Brown said, “I won’t say what each did individually, but all eight of them were together and participating in this event, which is disturbing.”

There is not much information in the media about Ken Lee, whose identity has just been released this Tuesday, but it turns out that he was originally from the same city of Toronto.

A friend of Lee’s who detailed the attack cbc canada, confirmed that the young women tried to take a bottle of liquor from another person and that Lee tried to stop it.

According to Diana Chan McNealy, a city official who works on such cases, the man’s death is inexplicable.

He also recently told CBC Canada, “To hear something like that and the people involved, it’s something that is completely beyond my understanding.”

Furthermore, he assures that crimes against people living on the street have become common recently: “This is the most extreme example of it, but we see it all the time. I see people come in with all kinds of injuries from being beaten up by complete strangers,” she said. “It’s nothing new, it’s going on, but I see it more and more.”
