Shruti Haasan recently shared an Instagram post from one of her workout sessions, where she opened up about dealing with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis. The actress, who has been vocal about her fitness journey, told fans how she is dealing with these disorders, and how she keeps herself positive through it all. On Wednesday, Shruti shared a video of herself working out on Instagram Reels. In the video, Shruti – dressed in a black tank top and lower back – can be seen doing various exercises at a gym. In the caption of the post, the actor talked about facing hormonal issues during his workout.
She wrote, “Work out! I’m facing some of the worst hormonal issues with my PCOS and endometriosis – women know it’s an uphill battle with imbalances and inflammation and metabolic challenges – but it’s going to be a battle.” Instead of looking in form, I choose to accept that it is the natural movement that my body moves to perform at its best and I say ‘thank you’ by eating right and enjoying my workouts.
The actor said that he knew his body was not perfect now, but he chose to take a healthy approach about it instead of worrying about it. He continued, “My body isn’t perfect right now, but my heart is. Stay fit, be happy and let those happy hormones flow!!! I know I sound a little preachy but accept these challenges and let them define me.” Not letting let go has been such a journey. Hence, it gives me immense pleasure to share it with all of you.”

Shruti was recently seen in the Amazon Prime Video web series Bestseller, which also starred Mithun Chakraborty, Arjan Bajwa and Gauahar Khan. The actor has two releases scheduled for this year – an untitled project starring Waltair Veeraiah and Nandamuri Balakrishna. She will also be seen in Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer Salaar, which will release next year.
