Philadelphia 76ers veteran big man Paul Millsap has had one helluva career in the league. Drafted in the second round of the 2006 NBA draft by the Utah Jazz out of Louisiana Tech, Millsap has carved out a role for 16 seasons in the league.
Millsap had a lot of success with the Jazz followed by four All-Star seasons with the Atlanta Hawks before joining the Denver Nuggets and being a big part of their success. In the 2021-22 season, he has played with both the Brooklyn Nets and the Sixers as he fills more of a veteran role these days, but there is no question that he has had a terrific career.
Millsap sat down with Sixers Wire and he took a pop quiz on his career accomplishments. This continues the quiz series that has been done with Danny Green, Tobias Harris, and former Sixers big man Andre Drummond.
With that being said, let’s get into the quiz to see how much Millsap remembers about his career:

Paul: I think it was the Phoenix Suns?
Sixers Wire: No. It was a team in the Western Conference though. I’ll give you another try.
Was it the Warriors?
No, the Houston Rockets
Was it the Houston Rockets?
I have no idea.
It was like a 4-footer in the paint in the second quarter.
I don’t remember that!
That’s how you scored your first points in the league!
Yes. Do you remember who you did it against?
Yes in 2010
I like to say 48 because it’s closer to 50.

Yeah, that’s your career-high in rebounds. You did it against the Warriors.
24? Holy (expletive)!
It was against the Toronto Raptors. You had 19 points, you had 13 rebounds, and 10 assists.
What team was I on? Utah?
You were in Atlanta.
No. I didn’t get a triple-double in that?
No, you had eight rebounds this game
Oh, wow. Nah.
The Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks. Wow.
45. Do you know who it was against?
I remember that one.

In 2010 against the Denver Nuggets when you were in Utah and in 2012 against the San Antonio Spurs
Also when I was in Utah?
Yeah, both were in Utah
2007, we played the Lakers.
You played the Spurs
We played the Spurs in the Conference finals that year?
Yup. That was the year the Spurs won the title. They beat the Cavs in the finals.
Alright, so you had a putback against the Bulls in overtime off a Nikola Jokic miss.
I remember that one.
Then there was another one in Denver when you drove past Myles Turner and you scored at the buzzer to beat Indiana. Then you were in Atlanta and you had a pick-and-roll with Kyle Korver, Kyle hit you with a pass, and you hit a jumper to beat the Thunder on the road.
