Some 500 children from the 5th and 6th grade of Primary from 11 schools in the capital of Badajoz, will be part of the Great Order to defend the city of Badajoz, an educational project by the Department of Tourism and Historical Heritage and Friendship. Badajoz Association, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Employment.
This project aims to promote knowledge of the historical and cultural aspects of the city, promote positive emotional feelings towards the city of Badajoz and prevent attacks against heritage and coexistence.
In total, 11 schools and 50 teachers will be involved; and the work will be done with 500 children in the 5th and 6th grade of the Primary School, as indicated by Amigos de Badajoz in the press where they explained to involve their children in the development of the activities, which. wherefore they speak of the blow of 2,000 men.

The event will also be followed by teachers in any of the teaching centers, members of the Ministry of Education and the Council of the City of Badajoz, specifically the 11 centers that will be deployed in this area in their classrooms of training. are CEIP San José de Calasanz, Los Glacis, Dolores Rodríguez Sopeña, Santa Teresa de Jesús, Ramón Izquierdo-Salesianos, Puente Real, Sagrada Familia, San Pedro de Alcántara, Virgen de la Soledad, Leopoldo Pastor Sito and Youth.
In the coming months, the students, led by the teachers of the 11 participation centers, will develop different activities and challenges at school, and with their families, following a manual with topics related to history, famous people, heritage resources, monuments or museums.
For the development of various educational activities, there is “excellent” quality teaching material prepared by the Association of Friends of Badajoz, which includes card games, comics about the history of the city, sending postcards, cultural puzzles or trips through. the city of families and teachers.
