The Spanish Wave month was very active in the UK, taking part in The Great Escape Festival of New Talent, which is held annually in Brighton, and in Wrexham, Focus Wales. They organized special parties to introduce our artists apart from presenting a total of eight names.
The result has had an outstanding impact among the public and recognized professionals, while creating business opportunities for artists who present themselves through this initiative. The Spanish Wave, an internationalization project for Spanish musical talent promoted by Live Nation Madrid, brought Nuria Graham, Marina Herloop, Shangai Baby and Orovega to The Great Escape. This was on 12 May. On the other hand, Los Premios, Black Maracas, Guinu and Valentinska can be seen in Focus Wells on May 5.
So far this year, the great export wave of national talent has already rolled past ESNS (Groningen, Netherlands), The New Colossus (New York) and SXSW (Austin, Texas) festivals, with the last stop so far being in the United Kingdom . , it was the turn of the prestigious festival The Great Escape (Brighton), in which, for the second year in a row, the stage presented a “showcase and party”, on the stage of which four Spanish artists were selected after an open call parade. And shortly before this project passed through Focus Wells
The Great Escape is a Brighton-based festival which has celebrated emerging music from around the world for nearly two decades. Without a doubt, the Take-Off stage is one of the most powerful and celebrated showcases for bands as the call brings together the most representative A&R from around the world. And the same can be said of Focus Wells, although they are not the last stop on The Great Escape project, which will continue to bring Spanish bands and artists to various showcases and festivals around the world.
