In China, Voge presents the new and latest medium-sized supersport motorcycle that promises to revolutionize the market during 2024: the RR 666 S with an inline 4-cylinder engine configuration.
The Chinese brand decided leave the popular parallel twin engine and with the new configuration it sits on top of the Voge RR 525 and aims to directly challenge the Honda CBR650R. In addition, this engine is completely new, it is not a copy of Hondas as is usually the case with engines manufactured by Loncin, but its own development.
It is more compact and lighter than the Japanese engine and its displacement is slightly larger, at 659 cc. This is a 16V DOHC inline tetra-cylinder, and although there are no power figures expressed in Voge, there are talks of more than 100 HP, which surpasses the Honda. This advanced and modern water-cooled and fuel-injected engine must spin up to 13,000 rpm.
From the Chinese company they confirmed that this new “beast” (for 666) is able to accelerate 0 to 100 in 3.5s and that exceeds 240 km/h. Carrying high quality ingredients from brands such as Brembo, Kayaba and Pirelli and with spoilers, also called “winglets”, at this point common to modern sports motorcycles in the purest style of MotoGP and a unique single-sided swingarm.
As for the electronics, it uses a six-axis IMU, with brakes dual disc with dual 4-piston radial calipers at the front and a disc brake rear optimized for cornering, ABS, traction control, driving modes quickshifter and all equipment found in the rest of the segment. The TFT dashboard of the Voge RR 666 S mutidisplay offers advanced information such as lean angle and lap times.
The suspension of the motorcycle is provided by the manufacturer Kayaba on both the trains. In front, a unique and modern Fully adjustable inverted fork and, at the rear, an adjustable shock absorber. KYB also signed the steering damper and Pirelli, among others Diablo Rosso, takes care of the tires. As for the frame, it is not clear if it is aluminum or steel.
Voge has not yet provided further details about the new supercar model. Basic data such as chassis geometry, total weight, availability or retail price in China are unknown.. For now, they only confirmed that it will be sold locally starting next year.
