Spoiler: Leyla warns Liam that Mina may have raped her in Emmerdale

Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) warns Liam Cavanagh (Johnny MacPherson) that Mina Jutla (Paige Sandhu) may have raped her in Emmerdale.

This week, Liam became concerned for Mina, as she learned there was no medical evidence of her miscarriage or pregnancy.

Really concerned for his friend, Liam confronts Mina last night and suggests she speak to the mental health crisis team.

Enraged he was interfering, Mina tells Liam that if he proceeds, she will tell Leyla that he sexually assaulted her at the surgery Christmas party.

After the party, Mina takes a drunk Liam back to her room at the B&B, planning to sexually assault him.

As Liam does not remember what happened, he is initially forced to accept Mina’s version of events (Liam came upon him, but nothing happened between them).

Tonight, the exam continued.

Liam meets with Layla and prepares to tell her about Mina’s blackmail.

Explaining everything, Liam told his wife that absolutely nothing had happened to Mina that night.

However, knowing her husband was very drunk, Leyla told Liam that if something happened, he would not be able to consent – so there is a chance that Mina may have assaulted him.

Convinced nothing happened, Liam leaves and finds Billy (Jay Koontzle) and reveals the miscarriage and pregnancy lie.

As things continue to unfold, will we ever be able to find out what happened between Liam and Mina?

Did Meena beat him up?

Can Liam cope with this on top of everything he’s already done?
