Star Wars makes a surprise return to cinemas this week

We don’t know how the ratings are going because Disney+ didn’t reveal it, but the latest Star Wars series, Andor and Ahsoka, is good. The fans seem to be going back and forth, until it’s back at the box office.

Star Wars returns to theaters today, although unfortunately only in the United States. This is not the surprise premiere of a film, but the chapter 5 of the series Ahsoka. The fact that Disney decided to release it in theaters, and the way episode 4 ended, foreshadows big revelations in the middle of the season.

Ahsoka is a series of Star Wars eight chapters, which premiered in August. Don’t worry, we won’t include any spoilers. In the argument it seems to be divided into two parts, and we have already seen half of it, up to chapter 4.

At the end of this fourth chapter of Ahsoka important things happen. The protagonists face a great danger, and in the last seconds a big surprise happens.

Ahsoka Chapter 5, in theaters

As we discussed a few days ago, Ahsoka This is a groundbreaking series that broke the canon of Star Wars con a stirring revelation.

This separation seems to reflect the chapter 5. That, along with the aforementioned surprise in chapter 4, predicts a great episode, and an exciting second half of the season.

Disney seems to think the same. According to the narrative HobbyConsolas.com, decided to release this episode 5 of Ahsoka in ten North American theaters and at least one British one something I haven’t been able to do with any other Star Wars series.

Another sign that shows the importance of this fifth stage is that Directed by Dave Filoni, creator of the series and others like that Star Wars Rebels y Clone Wars. He is also a supervisor and producer of The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett

Filoni now coordinates most of the series of Star Wars, and the one that prepares the big break with the canon of the saga, which will leave behind the Skywalker universe and the George Lucas galaxy, to start a new era. Most likely, we will see part of it in the long-awaited next chapter.

Remember that these days Disney + is sold for only 1.99 euros per month, although be careful with the fine print.

Episode 5 of Ahsoka premiered in Spain on September 13, only on Disney+. Unfortunately, it will not be shown in theaters here, something that happens in the United States and England.
