This September 12 Steam turns 20 and Valve, the company behind the popular PC platform, wants to celebrate with its users. Special occasion where it offers various anniversary merchandise and gifts for its fans, but above all to the most faithful and long-life, which gives a special digital badge.

In an official post on their website, Valve commented that they think it’s fun to see the best releases on Steam every year, adding that many of them are sold “as part of this celebration”, including all games from Valve. And in this summary, they add some interesting facts about Steam and popular culture in general (with images or text, or both). “But with a little consideration, like your old grandparents, the dates and data below are as correct as our old collective memories allow,” the publication explained.
And as we said, in addition to offers, Steam wants to reward its loyal customers, but especially those who have used the platform since before 2004, giving them a special digital badge. Badges with a military green color scheme, reminiscent of the original Steam interface and that these users are proud to display on their profiles, so they can show their friends that Valve has rewarded them for a long time using Steam.

And for all other players, some Valve “goodies” can be redeemed at this link, such as profile backgrounds, stickers, and animated avatars, all featuring the artist’s artwork. Claire Hummel.

So now you know, you can go and claim these gifts and also take advantage of different offers like Portal 2 for only $0.99 dollars ($570 Chilean pesos) or the HALF-LIFE COMPLETE pack for $3.58 dollars ($1,500 Chilean pesos).
