Although Stefano Meier has been related to the television environment since he was a child, due to the career of his parents (Christian Meier and Marisol Aguirre), it is one thing to see the field from afar and another to be inside. His character as Domenico in “Maricucha II” became his telenovela debut, an experience he considers vital in the development of his career.

“What I am going through, I also learned from my parents, because I also put in some work before, but I will not lie to you, it is one thing to hear, another to live. That’s the first thing that surprised me, after you get used to it, the rhythm of the soap opera, which is different from any office on television,” says Meier.
You will always be against time in the soap opera.
The business requires speed, and one thing that I have learned a lot, solving problems at the moment, I believe in other processes, is different from preparation: In the soap works that you find, while you remember, talent is built. which chapters come out.
He lives in Los Angeles. Do you think that much about getting a role in a soap opera?
I didn’t think much of this for two reasons. It is the first thing that I have decided to work here in television in my country, it is important to build a relationship with the arts and to promote yourself further. I know, through parents and through friends, a lot of people who work here and it’s really cool to have the opportunity with great artists here too. The second thing is that the opportunity also seized me when I was in Lima, I did not know that this proposed proposal would come, the stay here made everything easier.
Did your parents’ experience in class inform their decision to develop your work?
My parents have always supported me in that regard. If I ask, if you ask, if I recommend you, I was always happy to help me with a plan. With my father, we were thrown, we help each other to remember, and since we always share opinions, the relationship I had with them is very nice.
Comparisons with your father’s work in the early days were not very likely.
I haven’t read much about it, but I don’t have any problems either. My business is to work and prepare myself, even my father from different generations, as I said before, my work speaks for itself.
In your experience, how big of a shot is it to get a good outcome?
Super important, and I heard something from my mom, who also worked in Del Barrio productions. I’ve heard that it’s very nice and you feel it, I’m not talking so much about the cast, but in the same technical team, the production, as it’s cool, there’s a lot of difference in being an actor or an actress than when it is. a good classmate, the two are different. And I was lucky enough to have good actors who remembered good scenes as partners.
Can you be a good stage partner and not necessarily a friend?
That’s right, because at the end of the day the way a good stage partner works, it’s not so much about what’s going on from the outside, but the ability of one to listen to the other. there they work together You must always make an effort to work in a more comfortable way, supporting each other, because at the end of the day, it comes down to two or three of us, and we have to do the work.
Have you left music at the moment?
I have plans to complete. In the past year I have been working on a lot of music. I made two short films and an independent film for some director friends in Brazil, and in addition to producing some artists, one of them was my father, who released a new song last year called “Deja Vu”, and I told him. We produced it in an electronic song rcmix. Music is another of my passions, which I have not abandoned.
