Stellantis has announced that it will invest more than 200 million euros in the production of four models of the Fiat brand in Algeria. These cars are assembled at the new plant in Tafraoui, Oran, with construction to be completed in August this year. In addition, the Stellar Group will land on the Algerian market with six new Fiat brand cars: 500 Hybrid, 500X, Tipo, Doblò, Scudo and Ducato. To this end, by the end of 2023 the sales and after-sales network will cover 28 provinces in Algeria.
The production of the first Fiat 500 will leave the Algerian plant for the end of 2023. Three years later, Stellantis predicts that around 2,000 new local jobs will have been created and the plant will produce a capacity of 90,000 vehicles. When fully completed, there will be four Fiat models.

Stellar models already reaching the Algerian market
Fiat 500 Hybrid. The iconic Urbana was chosen as the first and today the first hybrid vehicle arrived in Algeria. Available in the hatchback version, with a 1-liter, 3-cylinder, 70 HP engine, it reduces CO2 consumption and emissions by up to 20%. In Algeria you can buy a version with the tricolor body of the Italian and Algerian flags: Dew green, Gelato white and Passion red.
Let it be 500X. The compact SUV offers state-of-the-art connectivity with the Uconnect 7″ HD LIVE touchscreen, with Apple CarPlay integration and Android AutoTM compatibility. It is available in two versions: basic and high-end, with a 1.4 liter gasoline engine, 140 hp and dual transmission.
Fiat Type It is available in a sedan body and equipped with an E-Torq 1.6 and 110 CV automatic transmission.
Let it be Doblo. Available as a van equipped with a 90 HP 1.6 HDI engine with manual transmission. With a load capacity of up to 1 ton, it is perfectly adapted to any daily activity.
Let it be a shield. It is offered with a 150 hp 2.0 HDI engine and a manual transmission. It has a load capacity of up to 1.4 tons and offers maximum modulation without any compromise.
Let the Duke be. It is offered with a 140 hp 2.2 diesel engine and manual transmission and has the best load capacity in its class: up to 2.2 tons.
