Instead of tracking traditional outdoor shipments with outdoor cameras, Amazon Key allows Amazon to deliver packages. inside your house. In addition to outdoor cameras and home delivery services, some companies offer smart locks and storage options for your packages. One such company is BoxLock. Its product, also called BoxLock, is a smart padlock that works with the associated BoxLock app.

Here’s how it should work: The BoxLock delivery partner uses a lock to scan the barcode of the parcel. The lock opens and they secure your delivery in a storage container (sold separately) until you return home and collect your package. UPS, FedEx, Amazon Prime and USPS are BoxLock partners.

Amazon also offers a Locker program in some areas. You have to head to the Amazon Locker location, of course, but these kiosks allow you to pick up Amazon packages on your own six-digit schedule (instead of worrying about something sitting on your porch).
