Jessper Vinal of England was the first cricketer in the world to lose his life due to injury. On 28 August 1624, he died of a bat on his head in a match played. This match was played in Sussex.

2- Frederick, Prince of Wales

Frederick King George II, the heir to the British throne from 1727, was the elder son of Caroline. He was interested in cricket and is believed to have lost his life in the match played in London on 20 March 1751.

17- Raymond van Schur

The South African player was killed in the match played in Namibia on 20 November 2015, Raymond van Schur died due to a stroke.

18- Babu Nalavade

The player lost his life due to a heart attack on the cricket pitch in Junnar tehsil of Pune. When the accident happened, the bowler threw the ball and the player proceeded for a run and suddenly fell down. Pran came out after seeing so many players. The incident is dated 17 February 2021.
