The series of Chile against Italy for the Davis Cup The group stage of the final at the Unipol Arena in Bologna was a nightmare for Cristian Garín (103rd ATP). Nicholas Jarry the coach Nicolás Massú… and the journalist Eugenio Salinas better known as Globetrotter Keno.
In the first round, Garín started to win the first set, but Matteo Arnaldi (47th) turned things around with sets of 2-6, 6-4 and 6-3 and gave the Italians their first point.
Immediately afterwards, Nicolás Jarry (22nd) implemented the same scenario against Lorenzo Sonego (38th) and lost 3:6, 7:5 and 6:4, with the doubles only being a tee option for Chile.
And after the second set of the duel between Jarry and Sonego, Keno Trotamundos exploded live on the TVN broadcast. The Bologna journalist complained angrily after enduring the hustle and bustle of the local bar for several hours.
“Okay, it’s fun for a while, but for four hours it can actually be harmful to your health. Oh really. I have a headache that’s driving me crazy. I will talk to the people in the organization if I can change because it also doesn’t allow us to broadcast well no matter how close I get to the microphone,” said Keno Salinas very upset.
The correspondent added: “I understand that these are the locals and they want to apply pressure. It helped them in the first game and now too. But there is an inhuman problem. A small band banging drums and bass drums for four hours is inhumane.”
The thing is that right behind Keno Salinas there was a small group of Italian fans with megaphones, trumpets, drums and bass drums that made all the Chileans present in Bologna suffer.
