Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reported on the progressive progress made on issues important to the people of North America after concluding his visit to Mexico City this Friday with Presidents Andres Manuel López Obrador and Joe Biden . During the summit, the leaders signed the North American Declaration, a joint declaration of leaders focused on building an economy that benefits people and expanding trilateral cooperation in each of the six pillars of NALS : Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Climate Change and Environment; competitiveness; Health; Migration and Development; and regional security.

According to a statement published by the Government of Canada, Trudeau met the President of the Republic and the two leaders reiterated their mutual commitment to strengthen deeper economic ties as well as establish an enduring friendship.
Similarly, in the face of global challenges such as the pandemic and the war between Russia and Ukraine, Prime Minister Trudeau and President López Obrador reaffirmed the importance of a strong bilateral relationship between Canada and Mexico with a new Canada-Mexico Action Plan. to be confirmed.
