Syria says Israeli air strikes near Damascus

Cairo-According to Syrian official media reports, Israel launched an air strike on targets near Damascus earlier on Friday, triggering Syria’s air defense system, but causing no casualties. This is the second such attack in more than two weeks. .

The Israeli military declined to comment on the report. The official media quoted Syrian military sources as saying that the Syrian air defense system shot down most of the Israeli missiles and caused material damage only in the attack that was dispatched at 1:26 in the morning.
