Tata Motors, the country’s largest carmaker, is all set to launch its new Micro SUV HBX (codename) soon. Recently the production ready version of this SEV was spotted during testing. The company launched this micro SEOV concept during the Auto Expo last year.
The production version was covered but some things related to its design have been revealed. It includes lighting systems including ay wheels. Its front design is primarily inspired by the Tata Herria, with split headlamps and slick LED daytime running lights. The DRLT is placed on top of the grille and decorated with chrome. Black plastic cladding has also been given to the body of the SUV which gives it a sporty look.
Engine capacity: This SUV has a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder natural ambitious engine, which is also available in Tiago and Ultra. This engine generates 86bhp of power and 113Nm of torque. The company could market it with a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which produces 100bhp of power. These engines come with a 5 speed manual and automatic gearbox.
Its production version is basically similar to the concept model, with a length of 3,840 mm, a width of 1822 mm and a height of 1635 mm. It has a wheelbase of 2450 mm. Even the interior of the SUV is very similar to the concept. These include floating touchscreen infotainment system, 3 spoke steering wheel, black fabric seat, Herman’s Stunning audio system, semi-digital instrument console, ambient lighting, anti-lock braking system (ABS), multi-function steering wheel Features deserve easy.
How much will it cost: The company has not yet shared any information about the launch of Tata HBX, but the idea is that the company may provide it in the next few months. Although it is difficult to say anything about the price before the launch, according to media reports, the company may market this micro SUV at a price of five lakh rupees.
