After failing to give his phone number to Taylor Swift at one of her Eras Tour concerts, NFL star Travis Kelce and the singer have been dating for a few weeks, according to a report from The Messenger .
The “Cruel Summer” singer and the Kansas City Chiefs player are said to be hooking up after Kelce tried to give Swift his phone number at one of her concerts.
“Taylor and Travis are quietly dating,” a source told the outlet. “She saw him when she was in New York a few weeks ago,” the insider added.

Kelce and Swift have not directly addressed the romance rumors, but the athlete confirmed that she was recently in New York during the August 31 episode of “New Heights,” the podcast she shares with her brother Jason .
When his brother asked him how he was doing over the weekend, the Chiefs tight end tried to be vague about his whereabouts. “What did I do? I can’t remember. “I don’t think I did much,” he said.
However, when his older brother pressed him, Travis admitted that he “disappeared.” “I think I’m in New York,” he added, before quickly changing the subject.
Elsewhere in the episode, the brothers argue about Travis’ mustache when Jason asks him if he “knows what Taylor Swift thinks” of his new look.
“Um, yeah, we’re not going to talk about Taylor Swift on this episode,” Travis replied. “But someone told me he wanted it,” he added.
Travis Kelce’s attempt to give Taylor Swift his number
In another episode of the same podcast, Travis Kelce shared his failed attempt to talk to Taylor Swift during her Kansas City stop on her Eras Tour on July 7.
In keeping with the Swifties’ tradition, Kelce showed up to the concert wearing friendship bracelets, including one with her phone number, which she hoped the singer would give.
However, the Kansas City Chiefs star did not complete his mission. “I was disappointed that he didn’t speak before or after his shows because he had to save his voice for the 44 songs he sang,” Travis shared on the July 26 episode of his New Heights podcast.
“That’s why it hurts because I can’t give her one of the bracelets I made for her. I have a lot of them on there, but I want to give one to Taylor Swift who is on my number,” Travis told his brother Jason.
“Is your number 87 or your phone number?” Jason joked, to which Travis replied, “You know which one.”
