Could NFL announcer Tony Romo be the latest fan of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship?
Romo appeared with Jim Nantz to announce the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Buffalo Bills on December 10. In December, he accidentally referred to Swift as Kelce’s “wife” after learning she was attending the game.
“As you see, Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, in the audience,” said Romo before correcting himself. “I’m sorry — boyfriend.”
Nantz also corrected Romo on his misuse of words.
“Not yet,” Nantz quipped.
The “Cruel Summer” singer previously opened up about covering football games and the reason she shows up.
“I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in. There’s a camera, like, half a mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you don’t know when you were put on camera. the broadcast, so I don’t know if I was shown 17 times or once,” he said PERIOD for their Person of the Year edition.
“I’m just here to support Travis. I don’t realize if I’m showing up too much and letting some dads, Brads, and Chads down,” she added.
Swift and Kelce went public with their relationship on September 24, but the couple had been together before.
“By the time I went to the first game, we were a couple. I think some people thought they were seeing our first date at that game? We weren’t really psychotic enough to have trouble launching on a first date,” she shared on PERIOD.
Swift shared that their first date was over the summer, after Kelce tried and failed to pass her number on to her.
