Taylor Swift will not attend tonight’s Super Bowl 57 rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.
The pop star postponed the second night of his Eras Tour last Saturday night in Rio De Janeiro due to the extreme heat warning in the area. This came less than 24 hours after a fan, 23-year-old Ana Clara Benevides Machado, who attended the first show on Friday night, was taken to the hospital and reportedly died of cardiac arrest according to local reports. Brazilian media.
Due to the scorching temperatures and heartbreaking loss, Saturday’s show was rescheduled for Monday night, meaning Swift would be unlikely to attend her boyfriend and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s game against Eagles and his brother Jason.
Swift is rumored to be all but likely to be in the audience tonight as she travels until she resumes her tour in Sao Paulo, Brazil next week.
Is Taylor Swift an Eagles fan?
The 33-year-old from West Reading, Pennsylvania will have more opportunities to attend Kelce’s games in the future. After he finished his tour in South America this Nov. 26, he will be off until early February when it starts again in Asia at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
Swift, along with other celebrities, was at MetLife Stadium in early October when Kelce and the Chiefs traveled to East Rutherford to play the Jets in Week 4.
In the past two months, Swift has become a regular in the Chiefs section. But during her “Eras Tour” stop in Philadelphia earlier this year, Swift revealed that the Eagles were indeed the lyrical reference in question for one of her tracks.
“I’m from Philly,” he told the crowd at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Eagles. “Of course it’s the team.”
