At its SAS Explore event, SAS announced that TD SYNNEX will be its primary global wholesaler for SAS solution provider partners. This is the first time the company is offering its suite of analytics and AI software, including its platform in the SAS Viya cloud, to a selection of customers in the Americas, Europe and Asia through a two-tier distribution model.
Thanks to this agreement with TD SYNNEX, SAS technology resellers will benefit from greater knowledge of the solutions, greater presence in certain parts of the world and therefore better penetration of new markets. This distribution model will enable these partners to increase their business volume and optimize the experience of their mutual customers.
“Prioritizing distribution agreements and expanding our alliance network through the indirect channel is an important part of our growth strategy,” says Emilia García, Director of Alliances and Channel at SAS Iberia. “Signing this agreement with TD SYNNEX is an important step that will help us grow and expand our reach while improving our scalability and entering new markets and, together with our valued partners, delivering results for our customers.”
For his part, Clay Davis, vice president of global data, AI and IoT solutions at TD SYNNEX, assures: “We are very pleased to support the growth of SAS through our global network, while at the same time encouraging our partners to introduce new AI and analytics capabilities “This shows our commitment to being a reference throughout the ecosystem of partners in the technology business.”
Priority for partners
SAS prioritizes its partners in its strategy to drive its growth and continue to continually innovate. In this sense, the company has taken its partner program to the next level with updates that guarantee the success of customers and partners, collaborating with companies such as Intel, Snowflake and Singlestore through new solutions that integrate new technologies such as AI .
SAS Viya’s AI and decisioning capabilities are available in the Snowflake Data Cloud with the Snowpark Container Service, allowing users to leverage the strengths of both partners without having to transfer data between platforms. On the other hand, SAS Health, a new cloud-native industry offering that includes the company’s partner SingleStore, uses SAS Viya to simplify health data management and enable faster data analysis thanks to the power of artificial intelligence.
Additionally, Intel and SAS continue to work together to deliver an advanced AI and analytics platform on Intel’s new 4th Generation Xeon processors. By integrating SAS analytics into Intel hardware and software, customers can leverage the unique features of the Xeon processor family to increase performance and reduce operating costs.
“Strategic partnerships are the key to creating value from our combined expertise and customer relationships. “Our partners’ knowledge, skills and abilities only enhance our best-in-class AI and analytics services and help us achieve the best outcomes for our customers as we grow together,” says Gavin Day, senior vice president of corporate programs at SAS .
