Team India announced for ODI series against England, this player gets the prize for his great performance

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced India’s ODI squad for the upcoming series against England. Mumbai batsman Suryakumar Yadav has been named in India’s ODI squad for a great performance against England in the fourth T20. Kunal Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are two cricketers who have made a comeback in the ODI team, while fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has also been retained in the squad.

Mohammed Siraj, who has performed extremely well for Team India in Tests, has also been placed in the 17-man squad. The 5-match T20 series between India and England will end on March 20, followed by a three-match ODI series from 23-28.

The All India Senior Selection Committee, led by Chetan Sharma, announced an 18-man squad for the upcoming series against England.

India ODI team for England series: Virat Kohli (captain), Rohit Sharma (vice-captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Shubman Gill, Shreyas, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), KL Rahul (wicketkeeper), Yajuvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Kunal Pandya, Washington Sundar, T Natarajan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna and Shardul Thakur.

Suryakumar Yadav played a stormy innings of 57 runs in 31 balls in the fourth T20 International match played at the Narendra Modi Stadium. He was rewarded by the selectors and was also included in India’s one-day squad. India managed to level the five-match series 2–2 and beat England by 8 runs in the fourth T20 thanks to a brilliant innings from Suryakumar Yadav.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has made a comeback in the ODI team after being injured in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.
