The gaming brand of NEEDLE announced the launch of a new semi-tower, the XPG BATTLECRUISER II. It stands out for its generous dimensions, using four tempered glass panels, and coming with many factory RGB LED lights. This light is linked to the fact that it includes four pre-installed RGB fans.
In the front and on the side, we have a window tempered glass 4 mm thick. To avoid cooling problems, above we have a place where the fans go, protected by a dust filter, and on the second level there is a decorative glass. In this way, a gap is left on the sides through which hot air is released from the system.
This is what this XPG BATTLECRUISER II mid-tower looks like
With dimensions of 550 x 225 x 506 mm, we see a middle tower made entirely of SPCC steel. Due to its dimensions, it allows the installation of a motherboard in E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX format. When it comes to bays for storage drives or other devices, we have 5x 3.5″ bays, along with 6x 2.5″ bays.
Regarding cooling, XPG BATTLECRUISER II can be installed maximum of 7 fans. It can be 3x 140 and 120 mm in front; 2x/3x 140 and 120 mm above; and a rear 120 mm. If you think about water cooling, it can be installed one up to 420 mm at the front, one up to 360 mm above and one at 120 mm at the back.
There is still room for a top-of-the-range air CPU cooler with up to 175mm in length. At the GPU level there are no problems either up to 395mm in length (without regard for the fans). At the power supply level, it is separated from the rest of the system by a fairing. Of course, it has a window, in case you buy a very expensive fountain and it won’t be visible in the photo.
The rest of the characteristics of this chassis
the XPG BATTLECRUISER II It has many spaces to facilitate cable management on the other side of the system. There are many of us velcro strap to hold the wiring. And of course, This is the worst part of the system so having a glass window there does not add anything to the system.
Four fans are included as standard XPG VENTO 120 ARGB. These fans rotate at 1,200 RPM creating an air flow of 45.3 CFM with a static pressure of 0.68 mmH2O and a voice of 21 dBA. They promise a useful life of at least 60,000 hours of use at an ambient temperature of 40ºC before experiencing a malfunction.
We have an I / O panel on the upper door with access to 2x USB 3.2 + ports 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, headphone jack, and button for lighting. And included a metal arm to support the weight of the GPU and prevent it from bending. Unfortunately, no details have been given about its launch price.
