Shaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is set to launch its first smartwatch in India. The Redmi Watch will be launched on May 13 with the Redmi Note 10S smartphone. Flipkart has revealed that the Redmi Watch 11 will bring sports mode. In addition to these the smartwatch will get a 200+ watch face, a slip monitor and a heart rate monitor. The smartwatch was launched in China at CNY 299 (around Rs 3,400). The price of smartwatches in India is also expected to be the same as in China. This smartwatch was introduced in China with color options like Ivory, Black, Navy Blue and Olive. In India, the smartwatch is expected to compete with Realmie Watch, Amazon Beep U and other budget range smartwatches.

According to the variant launched in China, the Redmi Watch will have a 1.4-inch display with a resolution of 320×320 pixels. The display features automatic brightness control. The smartwatch has the ability to track various activities such as cycling, running and indoor swimming. It comes with 11 sports modes and features slip tracking with 24 × 7 heart rate monitoring. The smartwatch has a 9-day battery life, the company said. It has a 230 mAh battery that can be fully charged in 2 hours.
