The Administration, armored against the citizen | opinion

The general lack of knowledge about how to act and the death of the pandemic forced different administrations to take many measures, aimed at avoiding conflict, which changes the dynamics of services that are always provided directly and more or less immediately. That time is used to improve the telematic service. The pandemic is over and yet the Administration has not “demilitarized.” It seems that the danger to the internal staff is not the virus, but the citizen. The phones are always talking, the security responds, like a machine: the web, the web, the web; Anything requires an appointment, appointments come weeks… The Administration must protect itself from hackers, not from citizens. It pays the different administrations their taxes and gives them a reason for. They expect decent and up-to-date service from them. In general, we deserve better care and better treatment.

The era of the superhero

Time is never enough. We study careers, master’s degrees, courses, many courses, official certificates, and there is never a single moment when we do not stop to think about what else we can study to become more disciplined and versatile. There is no longer any training that has exits that allow one to have economic stability and personally to be able to settle where one wants and build the life one wants. This, unfortunately, results in a lost, frustrated and dissatisfied generation. They should not continue to blame us for something that is not due to our generation, but rather, a legacy from the context we have experienced, and, therefore, the process of healing it should not be ours alone.

Oil or gold?

Who will tell us that oil can be a luxury item? A luxury that may compete in the near future with the price of gold. Because obviously at this rate, we’ll soon have to borrow just to dress our salads. Who would have thought that one day our bottles of olive oil would become a treasure more valuable than any jewelry! And that a person’s wealth can be measured by the number of oil bottles in their house.

Vaccines

The dreaded time for mothers and fathers of young children has arrived, virus time. This year, the most talked about is the bronchiolitis vaccine, a disease that causes many hospitalizations in children under two years of age. And it is known that they only vaccinate those under six months of age in Spain. I understand that they prioritize this group, because they have a higher risk of complications. But at least they will announce that those over six months of age will be vaccinated later, or make us pay to buy them like we already do with other vaccines. My son was admitted in his first week of life and just remembering it gives me goosebumps. I hope they will correct this and allow us to vaccinate our children.
