Pedro Sánchez achieved the support of the Congress of Deputies this Thursday, November 16, after the investiture debate sessions, with a total of 179 favorable votes, which means the absolute majority and the his continuation as President of the Government.
By his side there are two fundamental women in his life: Begoña Gómez, his wife, who attends other activities of the socialist leader, and his mother, Magdalena Pérez-Castejón, who is next to his wife in Congress. Deputy during his son’s investiture.
Who is Magdalena Pérez-Castejón?
This is a woman who is completely unknown and far from the media spotlight, but who has been and is now one of the major supports for the President of the Government, as shown in this investiture session.
Little or nothing is known about the family of Pedro Sánchez, because this place made him completely private, although it is impossible that the images and names of his wife and mother were revealed after his term and his appearance in public.
In fact, among the few details known about Magdalena Pérez-Castejón, it is known that she grew up in the Madrid neighborhood of Vallecas and that she worked as a Social Security official, although at the age of 40 she fulfilled one of his favorites, studied Law, at the same time that his son, now President of the Government, studied Economics.
