The statement expresses that the Argentine government “regrets” the presence of the island’s office “which, above all, acts in the end island-british to promote the status of Falkland Islands as if they were a separate entity from our country, and to pass as ‘normal’ the status of illegal occupation in the South Atlantic, which has been opposed by all Argentine governments since 1833″.
This is not the first time Argentina Complains to the Government of Uruguay about the presence of a representation of the Malvinas Islands at the Expo Prado. For several editions of the agro-industrial exposition, this fact has been repeated.
