Argentine attacker Ángel Correa has been chosen to wear Lionel Messi’s ’10’ shirt in the Conmebol qualifying match where the Argentine team faces Bolivia in La Paz. Coach Lionel Scaloni has suspended the Inter Miami player because of the discomfort he left the game against Ecuador.
Before the match against the Bolivians, Scaloni himself confirmed that Messi made the trip to La Paz for the second eliminatory duel with the ‘Albiceleste’, however, he assured that on the same Tuesday they will decide if the former player in FC Barcelona there are minutes of the match.
“Both of them (Messi and Cuti Romero) are fit to face the game. We will see the decision whether to start, later or not to play. They’re just training differently with the usual precautions ” were Scaloni’s words in the pre-game press conference.
