MG Motor India has increased the price of Aster SUV. Launched in October 2021, this medium sized SUV has been priced up to Rs 46,000. MG’s compact C-segment SUV is now priced from Rs 10.28 lakh to Rs 18.13 lakh (ex-showroom).

Aster Aster comes in five trim options – Style, Super, Sharp, Smart and Savvy. The 1.5-liter version has been increased from Rs 30,000 to Rs 46,000. Although the 1.3-liter variant, which only comes in the Smart and Sharp variants, has been priced at Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000 respectively.

The MG Astor comes with two petrol engine options. Its first engine comes with a 1.5 liter naturally aspirated unit that produces 110 hp of power and 140 Nm of peak torque. There is also a 1.3 liter turbo petrol engine. These engines are mated to a manual gearbox and an 8-speed CVT gearbox.

The MG Astor features LED headlamps with DRLs, a 17-inch alloy, a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, three interior themes, and integrated car technology. In the mid-size SUV segment, MG competes with Astor Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Nissan Kicks and Hyundai Creta.
